I had another quick windsurf session today. This time from the Lifeboat Station, Borth. It was a really miserable day, pouring with rain almost all day, floods everywhere and blowing a hoolie. I went out with my wave board and 4.5m sail into the rough seas and WSW wind. Unfortunately the wind started to drop as soon as I got on the water and the 4.5m sail wasn't really enough. I did manage to get planing a few times, but didn't have enough power to work my way out through the whitewater and onshore winds. Given the disgusting weather and the fact that I was on my own, I couldn't be bothered to rig a bigger sail. So, after about an hour of messing around in the shorebreak I packed up and came home...Oh well, you can't win 'em all.
